end engine rebuild carried out at 43,000 miles , and it has purred like an Italian pussycat ever since. | Anyone who knows these cars will tell you they are wonderful fun to drive – this one’s no exception, - it’s MOT’d until September 2012, and the tax expires April 12. | The vehicle has been serviced on the button, has good tyres, the exhaust is fine and I have bucket loads of paperwork to show everything that’s been done to her. | Recent new cat & air flow system. | A nice touch is that the reg plate came from Maranello sales, and features a tiny Ferrari logo in it ! You can see this on the pics if you look carefully ! | It’s a 2001 plated Y reg vehicle, and I think it’s in excellent condition for it’s age, although you can find a few minor bits to improve if you want, namely; | Cracked fog lamps (they work fine despite this), a few bumper scuffs (think of the age though...) | The front driver’s side suspension wishbone needs replacing. | Inside it’s in wonderful condition, and being a Veloce it features black Momo leather interior, which is in great condition – all dash instruments work fine – the only interior issues I can think of are that the driver’s side sunvisor is limp and that the glove box light clip is snapped, so it falls out. The door post has a piece of trim on it it which I removed to install an aerial wire, and it sometimes falls off. It could easily be stuck back with sticky pads etc, but I wouldn’t want to mislead anyone. | The engine runs fine, but produces a whirring noise which has been explained to me as the power steering pump – it works fine though, so I doesn’t need replacing. | I’ve been as objective as I can be about the car’s condition – viewings/inspections very welcome – I’m in Salisbury which is about 90 mins from South London. | Now, the business part – you are bidding to buy !
