57 Alfa Romeo 147 Sport 1.9 JTDm 120HP - Limited Edition - Black - 47K - History
.
Needs EASY Repair to N/S - Bargain Price - LOOK!
Hello and welcome to my listing. I know there is a lot of text, however I believe if you’re genuinely interested in the car you’ll take the time to...>
read and be appreciative of it! J Here I am selling my limited edition, Alfa Romeo 147 Sport, one of only 450 ever made. It is a 5 door in black, covering only 46k miles. (Still in use so may rise slightly) The cheapest cars on eBay are £5500-£6500 with comparable miles – mine really will be a steal for somebody. The car has not had any tasteless additions to it – everything on the car is as it was fitted in the factory. Unfortunately the car needs a minor repair, although i`ve been driving it for weeks as it stands, and it is a Category D as a result of a third party hitting me. I bought this car in June after searching long and hard for the right one. It is a pleasure to drive and benefits from a 120HP 1.9JTDM diesel engine, which is responsive yet economical, regularly returning up to 50mpg – over this if you are stick to a steady 60mph on a run as I have been doing! Exterior Features: Brushed aluminium Mirrors Subtle Factory Fitted Boot Spoiler Brushed Aluminium Bumper Inserts Grey Special Edition 17” alloys. Chrome Entry Handles Chrome Fog Light Surround Chrome Tail Pipe Interior Features Traction Control Air Conditioning Trip Computer Leather Multifunction Steering Wheel Aluminium Foot Pedals and Gear Knob CD Player Armrest Cup Holders x 2 and Coin / Card Tray Darkened Headlining Special Edition Sports Seats with Red Edging and Alfa Crest Stitching into Headrest PAS ABS RCL The V5 is in my name and has been since I bought the car. 5 Months Tax 5 Months MOT Service history from Alfa (3 stamps) and from my local garage since I’ve owned it. The car has all the books and manuals and a set of interior mats (not pictured) If you are a Manchester United fan (i`m not), the number plate may interest you – it reads MUFC if you take away the year suffix – this is completely by chance and it’s not a private plate. I will disclose the full registration on request to genuine buyers. This alone is probably worth something to the right person! The car was serving me really well until I was driving home in early January, and a third party pulled out and hit the passenger side of my car. I’ve been driving it ever since and will continue to do so until it’s sold. In all honesty, there isn’t an awful lot of damage, see the photos 7-12 - I’ve been as thorough as I can. (If you want more send me your e-mail - I have lots saved on the laptop) I’ve been told it’ll need: A Passenger Front Door A Rear Door (if it won’t repair) A Wing (or a repair to it) Sill section repair or replaced A tiny repair to the rear quarter A little DIY touch up to rear alloy. The lady that has hit me has gone through her insurance, and when the assessor came round to view the damage he told me it would be a Category D write off. The insurance company have given me a settlement for the repair costs and let me keep it, however I`ve opted to sell instead of organising the repair myself. I’m looking for a bigger car now, maybe a 3 series, so have decided to sell the Alfa. If you have something interesting you`re looking to sell, try me. (within eBay rules naturally.) Anyway, I’ve worked out you could literally repair the car for next to nothing using genuine Alfa parts from eBay. Everything bar the wing is the same on the 2001-2006 Alfa’s which are everywhere on eBay. If you can get a decent bodyshop to spray panels on the cheap, there’s a LOT of money in the car either for re-sale or driving yourself. Do your research on eBay and check my below findings out for yourself! - Doors are anywhere between £40-£70 each (there’s two in the same paint code as my car on eBay for £65 each delivered!) -A wing for £50 (brand new ones are only £110 delivered from Alfa) -The Sill section - breakers yards seem to want £30-40 for one if you don’t want to repair it Then factor in the miniscule repair to the rear quarter for around £50-£80, you can probably repair for £400-£500 (or less if you’re in the trade / know what you’re doing with a socket set!) It is in very clean condition, with the usual age related stonechips etc. for a late 57 plate car. I applied paint protector when I bought the car (similar to Autoglym Lifeshine) and it has been washed and hovered every week without fail. It’s never been smoked in, I have no kids so the rear seats are as new, and my two cats wouldn’t appreciate being given a ride in it! Obviously, I can’t offer a warranty and it’s sold as seen, being a category D write off. I encourage you to come and view the car regardless as it really will be a great car again once repaired. Any questions, or for more pictures, please call Pete on 07736 458602 or contact via eBay and I’ll get back to you with any answers. I am in the Oldham area but am willing to pick you up from stations / bus terminals if you’re travelling from afar. I require a 10% deposit via bank transfer or a cleared cheque, and the rest cash on collection to secure the car. I won`t ship abroad, don`t need agencies to help me sell, and promises of riches from Africa won`t be entertained. X

The car is a "retro" replica of the 1930s 1750 Gran Sport model (although the engine is in straight-4 rather than straight-6 configuration), and was inspired by an article published in the Milan -based car magazine Quattroruote . [ 1 ] The first prototype version was introduced in April 1965 in Turin , with the first production version being unveiled the next year at the New York Motor Show . Despite its appealing design, the car did not sell well: only 92 examples were sold. [ 2 ] The Quattroruote was hand-built around the Giulia floorpan and mechanicals. [ 2 ] The 1570 cc engine, gearbox and other mechanicals were from the 101-series Giulia. The 1.6 L Alfa Romeo Twin Cam engine produced 106 bhp and the top speed was 156 km/h (97 mph). The body was made of aluminium panels, with the chassis being constructed in the traditional way using Zagato 's tubular framework. Drum brakes were used at both the front and the rear. Car was available with two versions: "Normale" and "Extra". [ 3 ] Another "replica" of the Alfa Romeo 6C 1750, the Pettenella Leontina Sport Zagato roadster, was built by Carrozzeria Pettenella between 1975 and 1976. [ 4 ] Given the relative lack of sales success when it was introduced, the rarity of the car has made it quite collectible nowadays. Don’t get barkingly excited, this isn’t a barn-storming MiTo in the mould of the much anticipated – but not yet materialised – MiTo GTA. It is in fact a Limited Edition Alfa MiTo based on the MiTo Turismo with £1,610 worth of extras bolted on and available with a petrol or oil burning engine. The extras over the MiTo Turismo spec – which already includes stuff like AirCon and Alfa’s DNA – include 16″ alloys, Cruise, Spoiler, Blue & Me and multi-function wheel. On the engine choice you can have either the 1.4 16V 95bhp petrol or the 1.3 JTDM-295bhp MultiJet turbodiesel (the oil burner is the better bet) at £12,895 for the petrol and £14,410 for the diesel. Default colour scheme is Black but you can opt for Biancospino White or the new Alfa Metallic Red. Alf aren’t just pushing the lump of extras on top of the standard Turismo spec the Sport offers, they’re making a big deal of their finance offer. You can have either car for £1,000 down, 47 payments and a balloon at the end. The petrol MiTo Turismo Sport will then cost you £199 a month and the diesel £219. And the diesel’s still the best bet, even on the finance option.
