last year, and have now moved jobs and live 300 metres from my work, hence the very very reluctant sale.Dont mistake this model for one of the basic models with the small wheels and bland interior. This is the Ti model, with the best and highest spec of them all. 19" wheels, lowered suspension, Brembo brakes, side skirts, chrome mirrors and the red logo leather seats.The only option my car does not have is the factory sat nav, and by all accounts it is rubbish anyway.Please dont be put off by the high mileage, as I have been a mechanic for 23 years and do not buy rubbish. This car has a substantial full service history. It was a Lloydstsb district managers car before me and it did 2 journeys a week between Windsor and Newcastle. As you probably know, 95% of wear on an engine is in the first 3 minutes of start up. This car does not smoke in the slightest. It is mechanically in A1 condition. Everything that has needed doing has been done due to it being a Lloyds lease car.The cambelt kit was done at 82000 miles, and the clutch and dual mass flywheel were done at 87000 miles. These are the important ones to note.The only flaw with the car is the laquer which is peeling from the front bumper and edge of the bonnet due to stones on the motorway. There are no dents, car park dints or scratches at all.The Leather seats and interior are as new. The back seats look like they have never been sat in.The things that I have done to the car are:1: fitted a twin exit exhaust to make it look like the 2.4. (the 1.9 only has one tailpipe).2: one of the main problems with modern diesels are when the DPF`s (diesel particulate filter)block up and cause the engine to go into limp mode and is very costly to repair. Mainly caused by short journeys or town driving. I have had this removed and had a bypass pipe fitted, and at the same time had the engine remapped for more power and torque(and better mpg) to 195 bhp. The dpf software has been removed also. I did this to my previous SEAT Leon diesel as that one did block. The one I removed from this car is not blocked and will be available with the car if you want it, or I can refit it for you.There is a lot of literature about this problem on google, so go ahead and look up "DPF problems". This can never happen to my car now, and it is not an MOT requirement to have the DPF on the car. This was done by an Alfa Romeo specialist, not a back street garage.The car has many extras like the Blue and Me, which connects by bluetooth into your phone and you control your phone using the steering wheel controls and facia computer. It also has a USB connector in the glove box to play your music and stuff through. It has parking sensors, hill start brakes, auto wipers, auto lights, anti dazzle mirrors, remote deadlocking, electric folding mirrors, heated seats, electric everything, the list goes on. The picture speak for themselves. Please do not make any silly offers as this car with lower mileage would go for around £2000 more. And remember that the lower mileage ones will have done a lot of stop and starts, and the engine will probably be more worn than this one.Come and have a look before bidding, as you will love the car when you see it.I am a very honest and genuine ebayer, just look at my seller feedback. GT coupé features a tan leather interior and the much sought after 18" alloy wheels and never fails to get compliments wherever I take it.The car has been used for my 100 mile a day daily commute up to Warrington so although the car has high mileage it`s all genuine motorway miles which means there is much less wear and tear on the car than if it had been used for many short journeys in town. The car has rear parking sensors which are a must on the GT due to tapering shape of the rear end. Other features include Dual Zone Climate Control, Cruise Control, iPod lead, full service history including old MOT`s and invoices. I`m the cars second owner, the first was my uncle and I`ve owned the car for 5 years. Amongst other bits the car has recently had, new oil cooler and oil pipes, new EGR valve and a new battery. I`ve got both keys, the original book pack and the MOT and Tax expire at the end of March 2012. This is the newer JTDm engine which gives better fuel economy and performance than the JTD, I currently average 44mpg on my weekly commute. Although the car is in good condition for it`s age and mileage there are a couple of things I want to point out. Firstly the front of the car (as with any GT of this mileage) has a good peppering of stone chips. With the nose being so low to the ground and it`s mileage being covered on the motorway stone chips are inevitable. There are a couple of of parking related bumps, 1 under the sill on the drivers side and the other where the front bumper meets the wheel arch on the passenger side, again these are typical for the age and mileage and don`t detract from what is truly a great looking car (as the photos show). Finally the alloy wheels could probably do with a refurb. I had the wheels refurbed a couple of years ago and managed to keep them absolutely pristine but in 1 weekend I managed to kerb all 4...arghhh! This has genuinely been one of the most reliable cars I have ever owned but a new born baby means I`ve moved over to an Alfa 159 (same engine) so that I have rear doors. The car was restored some years ago and had a lot of money spent on it .The engine was changed to a 1.7 with racing cams etc also the suspension was all done so it sits nice gorgeous Has a propper stainless steal exhaust system and the brakes have been updated to outboard ones . The sud drives amazing no faults what so ever pulls realy well puts a big smile on your face sounds amazing and gets lots of attention and comments guys that remember theses cars usualy stand there with there jaw dropped lol . Under the bonnet there is a strut brace fitted and a set of k & n filters its realy tidy under there . The interior of my sud is also very nice the carpets are very good so is the dash the head lining the rear seat etc all plastics are nice the front seats have been changed for designer touring seats there not horrible racing seats they are realy nice have a receipt for £400 for them alone they are big and comfy which suits me as im 6.2 and 16 stone . If i had a nice set of front ti seats i still wouldnt put them in as they are that nice ! My sud has remote central locking an alarm system and an alpine stereo system that sounds realy nice but then again i would rather listen to the engine all day long .As i said the car was restored a few years ago but there are a few signs of rust on the body that will need doing Both arches on the nearside will need sorting thats the only bit that lets the sud down realy i have been quoted £400 to get this done and if i keep it i will do .The sud simply is gorgeous if you want an original one this car isnt for you but if you want a very special one you need to see and drive this . How many of these suds do you see on the rd these days . I have loads of history with my sud and loads of photos of when it was restored . Car has an mot till end of april flew through the last one just had a couple of things like washers and a cv boot has done less than 100 miles since this . Classed as a CAT D so will only need a V62 application along with there fee.No documents or service history but is very clean inside and outside with minor pre accident scratches. There is a scratch down the passenger side of the vehicle as if somebody has keyed it and there is also a light scuff on the nearside rear. There is also a light dent and scratch on the rear of the car as shown in the picture.Repair required but not restricted to include:The Car looks to have been previously repaired as shown in the pictures as the slam panel has got some welding which doesnt look standard.There is a very little crease to the offside front chassis leg as shown in the pictureThe front bumper has been cut for some unknown reason but the part of it which has been cut off is with the car so could be plastic welded back together. There is slight damage to the offside front so maybe a new bumper might be required. The fog lights are intact so can be re-used.The radiator is holding water.Offside front wing has a slight mark on in as per picture.Nearside wing will need replacing in my opinion.The bonnet is fine but the hinges may need replacingBoth headlights will need the brackets welding back on. You could repair this car using the existing parts or even if second hand parts where used i cant see the repair being very costly so should be an easy and cheap repair.Car starts and drives for loading purposes.
