I specialise in the location and disposal of finance repossessed vehicles which are not accident damaged or had any insurance claims against them unless specifically listed as such. Most of these cars are collected by me as non runners, some with minor and some with major mechanical faults. I will try to identify these faults and describe them as best I can in the listings. All cars are clear of finance at the time of auction and a HPI clearance certificate is available with every car. Most of the cars come with full documentation and any relevant documents I have will be itemised in the listing. Documents that arrive after the sale ends will be forwarded to the buyers regardless of time-scale. These vehicles are not classed as salvage or had insurance claims against them. All cars are offered without reserve and will sell to the highest bidder. You are bidding for a Silver Alfa Romeo 147 JTD 16 valve Lusso with a speedo reading of 51448 miles and a service history last stamped at 40000 miles. This car was collected by us today as a non runner due to a cam belt problem and on a brief inspection at the workshop it has been found that the engine spins over too fast on the starter motor indicating no compression, the engine has not been stripped down for inspection but all the oil and water levels are correct and it is our opinion that engine parts will need repairing or replacing to rectify the problem. The bodywork is in good condition all round with the exception of a few very minor scuffs and the odd light trolley dent which are hardly worth a mention. The interior shows no undue wear or tear. The car would benefit from a good valet. All the tyres appear good and legal and the alloy wheels are all in good condition. I am in possession of two keys, V5 and service history last stamped at 40k. This car is sold spares/repair as a non runner and will not be withdrawn from the auction. There is also no buy it now price and the car will be sold at auction to the highest bidder. Viewing is recommended and encouraged as people's opinions can differ on descriptions, although I try to be as honest as I possibly can in my listings. The only fault I can find is a very small car park dent on the passenger door and a small patch of lacquer lifted on the front bumper, both hardly noticable. The car was in production for ten years making it one of the oldest small family cars on sale in Europe at the time of its replacement by the Alfa Romeo Giulietta in late May 2010. The 147 received considerable praise for its styling on launch, later it was awarded with some styling awards. The entire 147 range was revamped in 2004, with the exterior styling changed considerably to be more reminiscent of the new 159 and Brera models, and Alfa Romeo Visconti concept car, most notably for its more aggressive look. Also a new more powerful diesel engine arrived and suspension was also tweaked. In 2006 the 147 1.9 JTD Q2 version was launched, which features a front Torsen limited slip differential. Alfa Romeo presented a new limited edition 147 called Ducati Corse at the 2007 Bologna Motor Show. [edit] High-performance versions Alfa Romeo 147 GTA The hot hatch 147 GTA model was launched in 2002. The GTA used a 3.2 V6 engine, produced 250 PS (180 kW; 250 hp) and could achieve a top speed of 246 km/h (153 mph). It has a widened body (15mm at each side) to accommodate the 225/45R17 tyres. Earlier models have 6-speed manual transmissions; later models use Selespeed. London-based after-market tuner Autodelta has produced a "bored out" version of the GTA sporting a 3.7-litre V6, producing 328 bhp (245 kW),[5] and a split-axle differential gear for the front wheels. Autodelta has also made a Rotrex supercharged version producing 400 bhp (300 kW).[5] [edit] Reviews The handling of 147 was praised in some reviews, in spite of criticism regarding the light (sensitive) steering, which makes some drivers feel less involved. However, light steering does help during parking maneuvers. Other criticisms of the 147 included a cumbersome gearshift, unsupportive seats and the lack of interior space compared to its rivals. The car became well-known for its engine note, which is unusually mellifluous for a car of its class. The 147 suffers from fairly poor resale value in Great Britain.[6] The 147 GTA and 147 Autodelta GTA have been road tested by Jeremy Clarkson, and featured on television show Top Gear with a power-lap around the track by The Stig.[7] In his review of Autodelta 147 GTA car for The Sunday Times, Clarkson described the acceleration as "…Ferrari throttle?
